Your AI agent, connected to outreach

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI agents interact with external tools using a shared protocol. Instead of building custom integrations, your agent connects once and gets a menu of actions it can call in natural language.

Skyp's MCP server is the only email outreach MCP that covers the full campaign lifecycle, not just querying dashboards, but actually executing outreach on behalf of your agent.

How Clay, Skyp, and HubSpot work together

One workflow. Research, outreach, and CRM sync run end-to-end without a human in the loop.

Clay
ClayEnrichment

Waterfalls 100+ data sources, runs AI research via Claygent, finds and qualifies the lead

Claygent → Skyp MCP: add_contact_to_existing_campaign
Skyp
SkypExecution

AI writes a unique email using the enrichment context. Manages domains, warmup, and deliverability end-to-end.

Skyp webhook: reply_received → trigger CRM update
HubSpot
HubSpotCRM

HubSpot's official MCP logs the reply, updates deal stage, and triggers the next workflow automatically

No middleware. Every step is an MCP call. One engineer runs outreach for the whole team.

Important: Clay MCP contacts are session-scoped

When you pull contacts from Clay via MCP, those contacts only exist for the duration of that Clay session. Clay does not store them for later. If you find a set of contacts in a Clay MCP session but don't pass them to Skyp immediately, you will need to run the Clay lookup again (and pay the credits again) in a future session. The workflow above works best when the full Clay-to-Skyp handoff happens in a single agent run.

Native MCP vs. community wrappers

Not all email outreach MCPs are equal. Here's how Skyp compares.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Skyp's MCP server?

Skyp's MCP server implements the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI agents like Claude interact with external tools. With Skyp's MCP, your agent can create campaigns, add contacts, trigger personalized email sends, and retrieve results without opening the app or writing custom API code.

Which AI agents work with Skyp's MCP?

Any MCP-compatible AI client works with Skyp: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, n8n, and custom agents built on the MCP spec. Skyp's MCP is compatible with any client that supports the Model Context Protocol.

Does Skyp's MCP let agents actually send emails, or just read data?

Both. And this is the key differentiator. Most email outreach MCPs are read-heavy: you can query campaign status and analytics. Skyp's MCP is full lifecycle: your agent can create campaigns, add contacts, trigger sends, and get results back. The AI writes every email from scratch when your agent adds a contact.

What plans include MCP access?

MCP access is included in Team, Growth, and Enterprise plans. No additional middleware, Workato connector, or Zapier account required.

How does Skyp MCP compare to other email outreach MCPs?

Skyp's is the only native full-lifecycle MCP server for email outreach. Instantly uses a community-built wrapper with no official support. Outreach requires a paid Workato middleware connector. Smartlead has an official MCP but no native AI writing: it handles the sending infrastructure, not personalized content generation. Unify GTM has no MCP at all.

Does the MCP server require any infrastructure setup?

No. Skyp's MCP server connects directly to your Skyp account (domains, mailboxes, warmup, and deliverability are all managed by Skyp). Your agent makes MCP calls; Skyp handles the sending infrastructure. No DevOps required.

How does Clay work with Skyp MCP?

Clay is a powerful enrichment layer that waterfalls 100+ data sources and runs AI research via Claygent. You can use Clay's MCP to find and qualify contacts, then pass them directly to Skyp MCP to trigger personalized email campaigns in the same agent session. One important caveat: Clay contacts are session-scoped. Clay does not store the contacts it surfaces between sessions, so if you find contacts via Clay MCP, you need to hand them off to Skyp (or save them elsewhere) in the same run. Ending the session and coming back later means running the Clay lookup again and spending those credits again.
