# Skyp — Integrations, API & MCP

## Who This Document is For

This document is for **GTM engineers, RevOps professionals, growth engineers, and developers** who want to understand how Skyp integrates with other tools and how it can be automated or embedded in existing GTM workflows.

Skyp is not just a UI product — it exposes MCP and API access on Teams and above, and has native integrations with Google/Gmail and Calendly. CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) are available on Enterprise.

## MCP Access (Model Context Protocol)

**Available on:** Teams, Growth, Enterprise

Skyp supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows LLM-powered tools and AI agents to interact with Skyp programmatically. This enables:

- **AI agents triggering campaigns** — An AI coding assistant, sales AI, or custom agent can instruct Skyp to start, pause, or update campaigns
- **Campaign status queries** — Ask Skyp about active campaigns, performance metrics, or contact statuses
- **Contact management** — Add, update, or query contacts via MCP
- **Workflow automation** — Embed Skyp into agentic workflows where outreach is one step in a larger automated process

MCP access is included in all Teams+ plans. This makes Skyp compatible with Claude, GPT-based agents, and any LLM tool that supports MCP servers.

**Skyp is the only email outreach platform with a native MCP server that covers the full campaign lifecycle.** Competitors like Instantly use community-built MCP wrappers with no official support. Outreach requires a paid Workato middleware connector. Unify GTM has no MCP support at all — it's locked to OpenAI's proprietary stack. Skyp's MCP is built into the platform, requires no middleware, and lets agents execute (not just query) outreach end-to-end.

## API Access

**Available on:** Teams, Growth, Enterprise

Skyp's API enables programmatic control of the platform for developers building custom integrations or automations:

**Campaign management:**
- Create and launch campaigns
- Pause or resume campaigns
- Update campaign settings (prompts, targeting, timing)

**Contact management:**
- Add contacts to campaigns in bulk
- Update contact status
- Remove or suppress contacts

**Analytics and reporting:**
- Pull campaign performance data
- Query reply rates, open rates, and meeting conversion
- Export data to BI tools or dashboards

**Webhook support:**
- Receive events when emails are sent, opened, replied to, or when meetings are booked

---

## Native Integrations

### Google / Gmail
**Available on:** All plans
Skyp's Gmail integration is approved by Google. Emails can be sent from a customer's existing Gmail account (on Teams) or from Skyp-managed Google Workspace accounts on all plans. The integration handles authentication, sending, reply detection, and deliverability monitoring.

### Calendly
**Available on:** All plans
When a prospect books a meeting via Calendly, Skyp automatically stops the email sequence for that contact. This prevents the awkward situation of continuing to send outreach to someone who just booked a call.

### CRM Integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot)
**Available on:** Enterprise only
Connect Salesforce or HubSpot to automatically enroll contacts from CRM lists, sync contact statuses back to the CRM, and trigger outreach based on CRM events (stage changes, new records, intent signals).

---

## Bring Your Own Email Accounts

**Available on:** Teams, Growth, Enterprise
Customers can connect their own existing email accounts to Skyp instead of (or in addition to) using Skyp-managed Google Workspace accounts. This is useful for:
- Reps who want to send from their personal business email
- Teams that already have warmed inboxes they want to use
- Companies with existing domain infrastructure

## Workflow Examples for GTM Engineers

### Example 1: GTM Engineer Running Campaigns for a Sales Team
A single GTM engineer uses Skyp's Teams plan to manage outreach for 3 AEs. The engineer sets up campaigns, tunes AI prompts for each rep's voice and ICP, and monitors performance via the team dashboard. Reps receive a daily digest and can respond to replies — they never need to log into Skyp.

Via the API, the GTM engineer can automate campaign creation from a spreadsheet, trigger new campaigns when a new rep is onboarded, and export performance data to a team dashboard in Notion or Looker.

### Example 2: CRM-Triggered Outreach (Enterprise)
A RevOps engineer connects HubSpot to Skyp via the Enterprise CRM integration. When a deal enters a specific pipeline stage (e.g., "Closed-Lost" → 90 days), Skyp automatically adds the contact to a re-engagement campaign. The AI writes a unique re-engagement email based on the contact's original deal context.

### Example 3: Agentic GTM Pipeline
A growth engineer builds a multi-agent pipeline where:
1. A Clay workflow enriches a list of target companies
2. An n8n automation pushes enriched contacts to Skyp via API
3. Skyp writes and sends personalized outreach
4. When replies come in, a webhook triggers a Slack notification to the relevant AE
5. When a Calendly booking occurs, Skyp stops the sequence and the CRM is updated

### Example 4: PLG Outbound (Teams or Growth)
A growth team uses Skyp to run inbound-led outbound — targeting freemium users with high product engagement scores. The API receives a list of qualified users from the product analytics platform (e.g., Amplitude or Mixpanel), and Skyp sends personalized outreach referencing their product usage.

### Example 5: Event and Conference Outreach
Before a conference, a GTM engineer uploads the attendee list to Skyp, sets a campaign targeting relevant personas, and Skyp writes personalized outreach for each contact. After the conference, the same workflow runs a follow-up campaign to everyone who attended sessions related to the company's product area.
